Dr Paula Conroy

Dr Conroy brings a wealth of clinical and corporate governance experience to quickly get to the heart of the unique health needs of organisations and applies strategic thinking to propose pragmatic solutions.
For over 15 years Dr Conroy has developed a stellar reputation as a doctor, specialising as a General Practitioner. She remains active as a clinician working in regional emergency medicine and undertaking surgical assisting.
Having held leadership and non-executive director positions in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, Dr Conroy has helped organisations in multiple industries develop, implement, and operate robust organisational health and employee wellbeing programs.
Dr Conroy has previously served as a board member for both Metro North Health, one of Australia’s largest hospital and health services, and Goodwin Aged Care Services, the largest not-for-profit provider of aged care services in the ACT. She has worked as a Specialist Medical Consultant with International SOS, advising a range of clients spanning large multi-nationals, small businesses, and not-for-profits on a large range of health-related issues and served as Medical Director for South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network. Dr Conroy has also led clinical trials as a Principal Investigator and worked as both a Lead Physician and Medical Officer of the Commonwealth with Bupa Medical Visa Services.
Dr Conroy’s credentials include Bachelors’ degrees in Science and Medicine, Masters of Health Leadership and Management, Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Graduate Membership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors
